Ex-Smokers Fuming Over California’s Legislation Against E-Cigs

With new senate bill, California moves to impose harsh restrictions against e-cigs.

Recently, the state of California has imposed strict legislation against e-cigs by passing Senate Bill 648. Although most e-cigs are made with non-toxic ingredients that create no harmful second-hand smoke, California has voted to impose the same restrictions on e-cigs as it does on traditional cigarettes. Under the new bill, e-cigs will be outlawed in all areas in which smoking is not permitted. Amtrak has already banned e-cigs from its trains and the U.S. Department of Transportation is looking to ban e-cigs from use on all airplanes.
