Despite All The e Cigarettes Reviews Some Doubters Still Exist

Despite the countless positive e cigarettes reviews that have been posted by ex smokers not everyone is convinced e cigarettes can actually help you quity smoking.

There are two sides to the “Will e cigarettes help me quit smoking” debate and both disagree with each other totally. There is no apparent middle ground on the subject as each is adamant in their believes. There have been claims of 90 percent success with quitting smoking and there are many who say that it increases ones desire to smoke. So what is the answer? As always, the individual is the one who actually decides to quit, and that takes work and sacrifice.

More people are smoking e-cigarettes, but as a quitting tool, they may be all smoke and mirrors

If you’re a smoker, odds are increasing that you’ll be a vaper, too. Puffing on smokeless electronic cigarettes — or “vaping,” as fans have dubbed it — is losing its novelty status, according to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

About 21% of adult smokers tried e-cigarettes in 2011, up from just 10% in 2010. Current smokers were much more likely to try them than those who had quit smoking or who had never smoked.

And while more adults may be aware of e-cigs — six in 10 in 2011, compared to four in 10 the prior year — the health effects of inhaling smokeless nicotine are still mostly a mystery.

“There is still a lot we don’t know about these products, including whether they will decrease or increase use of traditional cigarettes,” CDC director Tom Frieden, MD, MPH, said in a statement.

Whether e-cigarettes can be used to help smokers quit altogether is also unknown. But despite that, a number of e-cigarette brands are marketed as quitting tools — a way to wean oneself off nicotine without the harmful effects of inhaling smoke.

That caught the attention of Eric Cire, a 35-year-old from Queens. Ready to quit smoking, he swapped his regular cigarettes for e-cigs.

“I enjoyed them at first,” Cire said. “They don’t give the same lung-filling sensation that a regular cigarette does.” To finish reading More people are smoking e-cigarettes, but as a quitting tool, they may be all smoke and mirrors click here.

Here’s a good video I just found on YouTube that shows how e cigarettes work. Enjoy the watch.
